After School Activities

Yoga, adapted for pre-school children, develops body awareness, language, good listening skills, cooperation, and powers of observation. It teaches children about nature and their environment and inspires their imaginations, preparing them for breathing techniques used in yoga. They learn by playing, singing, moving, and imitating.

A Spanish language program builds basic vocabulary and begins to develop an understanding and appreciation of a foreign culture.

Children are exposed to various forms of dance and movement while having fun learning. The basics of ballet, tap, and creative movement are taught while blending numbers, colors, shapes, and words into each lesson — provided with appropriate physical, imaginative, and critical thinking exercises that contribute to their development as a whole.

Students work with all mediums such as clay, paint, drawing, oil pastel, chalk pastel, charcoal, mosaic work, and more. Classes also study famous artists, art appreciation, and history, along with important techniques — and build self-confidence with new and exciting projects each month.

The goal is to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment — using soccer to nurture, to build self-confidence, and to develop teamwork in every class. Specially designed curricula use positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to ensure that each child improves at his or her own rate while having endless fun.
