My son has been attending MCR for about 7 months and the change in his behavior and learning style is remarkable. The practical life skills component of the curriculum is priceless — he now cleans up after himself, helps set the table, and loves to help in the kitchen. The teachers are incredible and the environment is so warm and nurturing.

I highly recommend Montessori Children's Room in Armonk, New York for any parents interested in a superior education for their children. My four sons attended the Armonk Montessori school through first grade. The educational experience was simply incomparable. Every teacher treated our boys with kindness and respect. They encouraged our children to reach their fullest potential. To this day my eldest son, now a junior in college, lists his first grade Montessori teacher as one of his most influential educators.

Armonk Montessori Children's Room is a special place. The staff is very attentive to the individual child, and the school has a warm, caring environment that emphasizes respect for others and celebrates diversity and learning. Both of my children attended the school and had wonderful experiences there. My children developed independence, confidence, friendships and lasting relationships with the staff. If you are looking for a school that fosters social, emotional, and intellectual development in a safe, nurturing environment, this is the place!

We have had an amazing 5 years at this school. Our daughter has thrived under the guidance of the staff at MCR. The staff loves the children and cares for them so that one does not worry! It will be hard to leave the school, thank you MCR. Absolutely the best investment ever.

Montessori Children's Room is hands down the best education decision we have ever made for our children. The environment is so calming and peaceful. Montessori has been an amazing experience for my children as well as my husband and I. My children loved being there and although they are no longer there, they still talk about how they miss it there. By the age of 4 all my children were reading fluently and one of my daughters was even writing her own books!! I just can't express in words how grateful I am to the staff at Montessori for being so wonderful and caring. It's not always easy to leave your young children with a caretaker but Montessori easily eliminated that fear from day one.

The success my children are having now in high school, middle school and elementary I can attribute to the amazing start they got at the Montessori Children's School. All four of my children went there for preschool through Kindergarten/1st grade. The method of teaching had them reading while in preschool which is ahead of Kindergarten in my public school. The school is very well run with phenomenal teachers. They are consistently striving for a loving environment that pushes kids to their potential and they are very good communicators. Giving your kids this kind of a head start on reading and math pays for itself down the road immensely.
